Sort of out of nowhere, after 8 years of her living there, finally decided to get on a plane and visit my dearest friend, Brenda Malvini, in New York 
the unforgiving light of the subway and hours of travel later
Brenda is about to move to Chicago so this was my last opportunity to see her in Brooklyn
